settle down
Mason is an expert on queer relationships and a matchmaker with a booming success rate. When it comes to love, he knows all… except why his own relationship is on the rocks.
Mason is a matchmaker with an impressive success rate, and the host of “Well Versed”, a wildly popular podcast for which listeners get answers to questions on sex, dating, and relationships.
If he could just follow his own advice, he’d have the man of his dreams. Unfortunately, Mason has no such luck — his personal life is a tragic disaster. A crazy ex fiancé, crazy client cases... To top it all off, he can’t stop meddling in his friends’ love lives. Can Mason stop getting in his own way before he taints his budding love empire past the point of no return?
Along for the ride are his best friends: Georgia, who refuses to admit she has commitment issues; and Ben, who is riddled with anxiety when it comes to the dating front. They help one another navigate the wild world of 2SLGBTQ+ dating, despite a truckload of friction along the way.
Each episode we meet a new client that Mason must match, while balancing his own messy private life. These clients and their stories reflect various topics about queer dating, love, and sex.
REVIEWS

"
I absolutely loved the first episode of Settle Down! From the start, it feels fresh, funny, and full of heart. Mason is such a great lead, but honestly, Georgia stole the show for me—she’s hilarious and instantly became my favorite character. Every time she was on screen, I was either laughing or nodding along like, “Yep, she gets it.”
The writing feels natural, the characters are layered, and the humor actually lands (which isn’t always the case with new shows). It’s the perfect balance of witty and heartfelt, and I can already tell this series is going to be something special. Can’t wait to see where it goes next!"
"There sure is a lot packed into only 6 episodes! I love how emotion - centered the series was and how it genuinely approached relationship drama. Even if the characters feel exaggerated at times, the challenges they face are real.
The series made me chuckle, sigh, grit my teeth and roll my eyes, which means I felt invested in it! Good job on the writing, the acting and the picture as a whole."
"I am in love with this show! Full cast with representation of people of color and of the queer/ gay community is amazing. If a show can hook you from episode 1, they’re doing something right! For just 6 episodes, so much happens and it is binge worthy! If you haven’t watched it yet, you need to."
